We have members all over the country who have yet to experience the AthletEX community – which means we need new team members who are just as passionate about our mission as we are and can help us grow and engage our network. The draft officially begins.
THE CITY CAPTAIN
City Captains are the on-the-ground representatives of AthletEX, making sure our city chapter run smoothly and members feel connected, supported, and inspired. As the local face of the brand, you’ll foster community and drive participation both online and in person.
City Captains help execute pre, during, and post-event checklists to ensure every experience is organized and impactful. You’ll build connections among members, promote AthletEX’s mission of supporting former athletes, and create a welcoming space for everyone to engage.
Through energy, communication, and authentic leadership, you’ll bring people together for events, programs, and activations that celebrate life after sports. City Captains lead with empathy and inclusivity, encouraging members to connect, participate, and explore new playing fields. You’ll also serve as our eyes and ears on the ground, helping ensure every city feels like a safe, supportive community for all athletes.
We’re looking for people who are:
• Social butterflies who love connecting others
• Active in local leagues, gyms, or clubs
• Passionate about health, wellness, and community
• Comfortable creating content on personal social media pages
• Always in the know about upcoming events in your city and the first to text the group chat with what’s happening
• Natural leaders who know how to bring people together and create an unforgettable experience
• Excited to spread the word about AthletEX to other former athletes
• Former college or professional athletes
